Billy Idol

I'm surprised no one has made this topic. Billy Idol rocks and his music is awesome. I'd really love to see him in concert. His best songs are Eyes Without a Face, Rebell Yell, Dancing with Myself and Shock To The System.

Billy Idol is not punk, His music was in the punk era but he is not a punk artist.

He was ina punk band called Generation X but this is Idol not generation X

^He calls himself punk and you can actually hear it in his songs too. Maybe he sounded more punk with his band Gen X but he was punk afterwards too. Not because he had more melodies after that he wasn't punk anymore.

Well fine ill move this to contemporary seemign he covers more then on genre.

Rebel Yell's his best, imo.

rebel yell and white wedding are great songs.
and, deffinetly punk, not contemporary, from generation x to his solo albums he stayed with the punk rock scene.
