I can't really remember but I expect it was The Marshall Mathers LP by Eminem. Yes, quite explicit lyrics for someone of that age (I was like 8, I think) but I used to get my Uncle to buy Em albums for me and then I'd hide them in my hoody pocket as I went up the stairs. Then I'd listen to it reasonably quietly in my room. Now I can listen to whatever the hell I want lol.

I can't remember the first one I was given, but the first one I bought was a 5ive album, and at the time loved it, and it's still one of the pop albums I have that I still like.

Dizzy Up the Girl~The Goo Goo Dolls. my aunt had a copy of it, she said she never listened to it and so she gave it to my mom, who bought another copy, considering what horrible shape the cd was in, and gave it to me. I was probably about 10 or 11 at the time... it was a good 5-6 years ago. IMO, one of their best albums to date. can't wait for their new one!

Oh I remember 5ive. They were pretty good for a pop group, I used to be into them as a kid.

First album I bought was that Evanscence (sp?) one. Yeah. Things have kinda changed, but I thought that Amy Lee had a pretty good voice. Back then, I didn't understand that I could have bought the single, cos that was all I liked off the album lol.

If I remember correctly, the first album my parents bought FOR me was an Enrique Iglesias album (I was quite into him back in 2003). It was "Seven"

First album I've actually been given was a collection of 50's and 60's music for this year's birthday. All the rest of my music I got from overnight borrowing CD's from my uncle and ripping them onto my computer if I liked them.
