New Slipknot Album...
What does everybody think about it?
Not a huge fan of it to be honest, by far the weakest so far. I would say Sulfer is canny track but nothing else stood out to me. Snuff is pretty decent to but Slipknot shouldn't really be about the softer stuff really. They seem to have lost a lot of balls since their debut album. They've all been softer and not as good since then imo.
Still going to see them in December like, should be quality to see live.

i dont really like em tht much singing soft songs imo, i like there heavy 1's more
Re: New Slipknot Album...
Me too but this new album seems really really weak compared to their first two. Vol.3 had plenty of it's moments too but this one borders on "radio metal".

Re: New Slipknot Album...
I thought it was alright. A friend lent it to me, so i got to hear the whole thing and burn it to my computer. It had a lot of songs that seemed really mainstream or sold out, but there were some that i liked. I still like Vol. 3 a lot more though. Some of the songs that i liked on all hope is gone were "psychosocial", "dead memories", "vendetta", and "snuff". Those were the main ones that i liked. Stay (sic)...
Re: New Slipknot Album...
i like the old stuff more, this new album was a failure imo.
the only song that is ok is "Psychosocial" but still not great

I've only recently become a fan of them and it's their new cd got me into their music.

Re: New Slipknot Album...
It was decent. I liked Volume 3 much more. About half the album was good, the other half decent.
