Joy Division Empty Joy Division

Post by Bolty B Sat Feb 28, 2009 11:36 pm

Joy Division are one of my favorite bands, they are Ian Curtis on vocals, Bernard Summers on guitar, Peter Hook on bass and Stephen Morris on drums. Ian Curtis is one of the best lyric writers of the 70s. This guy put his real fears into his lyrics, and they've made some of the darker songs I've listened to.

Day Of The Lords is one heavy mother for being a Post-punk song. Not extremely talented this band, but they knew exactly what they needed to do for their songs to have maximum effect. Really love the Closer album.
