Drowning Pool
Well seeing as it came up in my iTunes shuffle. I was thinking they are more than worthy of making a topic for. Now of course, I'm just a strong fan of their late singer Dave Williams. Unfortunately, he passed away and since then the band hasn't been that great. They went through their change of singers and had Jason Jones who did the ever so catchy "Step Up". Now their current singer is the former singer of Soil (which was a band I use to enjoy). Seeing as I liked Soil, I thought, this is great! Then I listened to album and was greatly disappointed. I still keep their first album, Sinner, on my iPod and have it in rotation a lot of the time and consider it to be one of those timeless albums.
What do you think about Drowning Pool?

Re: Drowning Pool
Drwoning Pool use to be my favourite band. Sinner is a great album especially Bodies and Sinner. Dave williams was a legend IMO and the way he died was sad especially for the band. Either way i like Drowning Pool with any singer.
Re: Drowning Pool
Totally agree with you Nicky. Since Williams passed, Drowning Pool just have no been anywhere near as good, or lyrically catchy as they were before. Bodies is probably their best song, what a crazed up war anthem that song is, and that's practically why I love it, a song with great energy and something that can hold true to many families with the War On Terror currently happening.

Re: Drowning Pool
My favorite song on Sinner has to be "Tear Away" although I do happen to love every single song on that CD. Dave Williams just wrote one hell of an album, great lyrics and every song had it's own little catchy part to it.
It really was a shame that Williams passed away. Drowning Pool was my favorite band of all time with their Sinner album, then he passed away and I was like crushed. Everything after Sinner just wasn't the same.
