Religion

This topic can't be avoided there is always somebody that will post it. So might as well discuss it now.

Whats your point of view on religion? Do you believe in a god?

I'm an atheist, I don't believe in religion really. But I'm not going to bash other people, I am actually baptized and all that, but I don't actually believe in God, but people are free to believe in whatever they want.

I'm a Roman Catholic and I do believe that there's a God. I'm not a really religious person though. I don't condemn gays and living together before getting married like others do.

I'm Jewish and will always be Jewish, but I'm a non-believer when it comes to this "God" thing.

Firstly I don't see the point in fasting. If god wants us to be healthy he wouldn't tell us to stop eating and drinking for twenty-four hours straight.

Secondly if god is so great and mighty, why does cancer and world hunger still exist? Hm? Can religion answer that?

Thirdly, if all god wants to do is love and protect us I would not be beaten at school and I would not have had to be my own math teacher last year.

Lastly if people want me to believe such bollocks about this "great and mighty" thing, then... well suck it up because god is a myth, not a solid physically notable object proven by science.

As I said, I'm a Jew, just a non-believer.

I'm Anglican/Church of England, and yes, I think there's a god, but I'm not overly religious. I'm not at church every week or anything like that, and I'm not against gays, sex before marriage, etc

I'm agnostic. I think it's unwise to commit yourself to a life serving something which may not even be there.

Agnostic is halfway through Athiesm and having a religion, right?

Same here. I was born a Roman Catholic but I'm atheist.

Im a pentacost, Now what this is basically is that we dont have a religion. We dont go to church every sunday instead we pray and honor God in our own time. Were christians just not part of a religion so to speak

I don't believe in God. Just because I'll sit down and read the bible and just shake my head at some of the stuff. I don't see how anyone can think that ANY person in the world deserves to suffer forever in Hell. Nobody deserves that.

I don't believe in any kind of organized religion, all they do is cause more fighting, wars, and pointless killing. I'd like to believe there is a God though, but he's indifferent, sin or not, after we die we rot in the ground.

I'm protestant. I don't believe that people burn in hell. I think hell could mean that you're stuck on the Earth plane, where you experience a lot of sadness and regret. Like you know how some Christians say that if somebody takes their own life, that they go to hell? Well, I think what I'm saying is what happens to a lot of those people. They don't burn in the lake of fire, they're stuck here trying to say sorry and they want to be forgiven for leaving. That's what I think.

I don't believe every word in the Bible and I don't know how some can. They say it's the word of God, but men wrote the Bible. I think some of the stories and teachings in the Bible are amazing, but I don't live by the book.
