Label Game

Ive been going over this for a couple days now and I think ive finally come up with a good Game that we could all take part in on the fourm.

Basically its called '' The Record Label Game ''. For this example Ill use the genre of Hip Hop.

Ok So say we get 10 people to sign up to the game , thats 10 Record labels.

Next I will create a list of 30 Rappers , maybe more , which will be given to someone not involved in the game. The Rappers will then have random numbers assigned to them , and the 10 people taking part will draw numbers at random and what ever rapper they get is on their label.

After all the rappers have labels we then enter a knock out tournement phase where Labels will be put up against each other.

Each label has to select a rapper to repersent them in the battle and choose one of his songs to put up against the other rappers song. The forum members will then vote for their favourite song out of the two ( can use youtube videos to post the songs ) and the winner progress's to the next round. For each victory the Labels will recieve ten points.

A table will be created with the top ten promotions.

The tournement will go on until we have a winner.

Winning a Final : 25 Points
Winning a Semi Final : 20 Points
Winning a Quarter Final : 15 Points
Winning a Match : 10 Points

In the interest of fairness you will only be allowed to use one rapper twice during any tournement. You can only use one song once aswell. So some thought has to go into it.


Ill let you all ponder over this until you decide whether you wanna do it or not , Id like to organize everything apart from choosing the person to assign the numbers , since i am in this game i dont want anyone thinking im cheating.

Yeah I dig this game but I also want to ask if I can create a rap concert game. I will explain the rules to it nearer the time if it's allowed to commence.

Good idea, sounds good to me

Im loving the idea, But i have something to add to it. Say if you win the tourny i think you should be given something like 30 rep points as well which would be pretty sweet.

other then that i like it, I will make a new board for it ill just wait to see others opinions but other then that i like it

Ok This is how we will do it.

I will leave this thread for a couple of days and check back on it on Wednesday ( its Monday here ). If there has been enough response I will start the game. IF there hasnt been enough I will allow some time to go by before bringing it up again.
