Immortal Technique is a more underground MC. A lot of his songs tell a great story like "Dance with the Devil" and "You Never Know" which are great for rap i think. DWTD hit me really hard the 1st time I heard it. The piano in it makes the creepiest atmosphere. At times he can be overly political though which can get annoying. Check him out and tell me what you think.

Wow yeah, I know what you mean about the piano. I'm still undecided on whether I actually like this guy or not but he's certainly an interesting prospect. I'll listen to a few more tracks before making my mind up but "Dance With the Devil" was unique which is usually a good thing.

Ya for sure bro. I'll recommed "Leavin the Past" and "Harlem Streets" Those 4 songs I've mentioned are his best stuff IMO.

I've been really listening to Immortal Technique recently and he's one of the finest rappers in the past ten years. His storytelling ability is amazing and his lyrics are full of emotion and meaning. "Peruvian Cocaine" is class, I love the melody. IT is a top quality rapper, an amazing lyricist and very original. He's awesome, one of my top ten faves, thanks for the tip off DeathDivine, great call.

I just listened to DWTD , this guy has got some skills. He sounds alot like Nas on the basis of his story telling through rhyme.

And yeah , ive looked at alot of his song descriptions and he does seem to get into polotics alot. '' Tell The Truth '' with Mos Def & Eminem is one example of were he goes way over the top.
