Tupac Shakur
Best rapper to ever spit a beat. I know thats a common thing to say but I really believe it. No one can touch 'Pac when it comes to rapping IMO.

Re: Tupac Shakur
I'm here!
Tupac Shakur is the best lyricist in hip-hop history and perhaps music history. His tracks are often meaningful and his lyrics complex and deep. Shakur's raps were often filth but he told a story while doing it, a story that needed to be told. His tracks are some of the finest I've heard and his versatility is outstanding. Tupac can create party tracks like "California Love" with great commercial success as well as stuff like "Life Goes On" which deals with the struggle of grief. Shakur was corrupted By Death Row and Suge Knight and it proved to be his downfall. I'm just happy that he made so much music before he died. Shakur doesn't get the credibility he deserves in the music industry, he should be right up there with Guns 'N' Roses, Nirvana, Oasis etc. "Changes" is one of the most touching songs but it's so catchy and infectious at the same time. "To Live and Die In L.A." captures the sunny streets of California perfectly and his vocals fit along with Val Young's very well. Then of course there's "Made N*ggaz" and "Staring at the World Through My Rearview", two classic Pac songs. "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" with Snoop Dogg and "Ambitions Az a Ridah" are two gangsta Shakur tracks but his best are always the more smooth songs like "All 'Bout You". Shakur was an inspiration to many figures in the rap world and in my opinion, the greatest rapper ever.

Re: Tupac Shakur
Agreed on everything you said. Right now, "Thugz Mansion" is my favorite song. But "Changes" will always be my all-time favorite song by 2pac. There's 2 big rap fans on this forum right now and 2Pac is the favorite of both.....What a beast

Re: Tupac Shakur
I agree with everything MF/213/Shady said. Tupac deserves much more credibility and needs to be recognized for being a rap icon. I loved his songs and "Changes" is the most emotional rap song I've ever heard while being extremely entertaining and have a great rhythm to it.
He stands as my favorite rapper of all time

Re: Tupac Shakur
There is nobody on the face of this Earth that is on any level near Pac. There will never be anyone better than Tupac Shakur. Simply because there was only one 2pac , and it was a tragic lost to the Music industry , hell the world , when he died. But what he loved Doing eventually cost him his life.
I am in the process of buying every Pac album every released , so far I have 9 out of the 12.
He is up there with Elvis , The Beatles , The Rolling Stones when it comes to impact on the music industry. There are all these rumours about him faking his own death , and a hell of alot of clues pointing towards him being alive , I Hope he is , but it is more than likely false. But with todays technology Pac's legacy can live on with releases of new albums.
I First heard Tupac's music in 2004 when Ghetto Gospel was released. I had heard of Tupac before then but I had never listened to any of his music. It blew me away when I first heard it. From there I continued to look into his music and I have been hooked ever since , and will be to the day I die.
Normally you have rappers who have one decent song in their entire careers , but Pac had hit after hit after hit.
California Love
Hit 'Em Up
Changes
Brenda's Got a Baby
Hail Mary
2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted
Thug Mansion
I could go on and on , but for times sake I wont.
As this site grows I'm going to eventually conduct a '' Tupac's Greatest Hits '' list where members get to Vote for their favourite Tupac Shakur song.
Tupac Shakur was and still is the Greatest Thing to Happen to the Hip Hop Industry.
People branded him a ''Thug'' when all he was was a Poet.
They are releasing a new Pac album in 2009 with 35 unreleased songs on it , ill update you all as time goes on.
