Re: Ask NIRVANAPLAYER...
Wow... Very good questions. I would have to say that my favorite nirvana song would have to be "serve the servants" from their "In Utero" album. I just think it has a lot of deep meaning to it, and it sounds really grungy. Now, for dave ghrol. In my opinion, I think that he's probubly a better drummer, but thats just my opinion. I only say that because I havent heard as much foo fighters as I have nirvana, so i'd have to go with drums for now. Mabey if I listen to more foo fighters I will be able to come back and see what I think then. For slipknot or nirvana, I would have to say that they are pretty much equal in my head. I mean, they both have qualities that the other dose'nt have. For example, slipknot has 9 members, and nirvana only had 3. That gives slipknot a more polished sound. But nirvanas style is grunge, so they did'nt exactly need the most polished sounds ever. But music-wise, slipknot kinda does have an angrier sound, and nirvana kinda stood in with the grunge/rock genra. Overall, I find them equal, for now...
Re: Ask NIRVANAPLAYER...
Well, I know "nevermind" was probubly their most popular/reconizeable album, but Their album "In Utero" also did very well. Same with their album "Bleach", although I dont think bleach did as well as the other albums. The answer is'nt very clear because many people dont now of any other albums other than nevermind, so they classify nirvana as a one album wounder. But to me, their a three album wounder (because they only made 3 albums).
