Re: Katy perry!
At first I hated "I Kissed A Girl", but I hear it so much, and it's so damn catchy, I've begun to like it.

Re: Katy perry!
I only know "I Kissed A Girl" and I think it's decent for that genre of music. Not a big fan or anything though. I reckon she'll be one of these artists who has one song I like and the rest don't appeal...

Re: Katy perry!
I'm not a fan of hers. In fact I hated I Kissed A Girl before, but after a couple of weeks, I actually do not mind it now. Still don't like it, especially don't love it, but it I do think that it's decent now and not as bad as I thought it was.

Re: Katy perry!
The only song that I've heard from her was "I kissed a girl". And I must agree that it was kinda catchy after hearing it a few times on tv.
Re: Katy perry!
I love the decay of our society. I recently went to a high school dance where they played "I Kissed A Girl" and everyone got together in the middle of the dance floor and sung along with the lyrics of "I kissed a girl and I liked it". Not to mention most of the people chanting were women, I mean, doesn't that just scream whore?
Perry is good looking, but her music definitely lacks. She'll eventually starts sounding like every other artist and the only song she'll really be known for is that "I Kissed A Girl". Quite a career.

Well it's only a song, a catchy one at that. Just because someone is singing a song like "The Bad Touch" doesn't mean they are sex obsessed or anything. And some of this metal stuff (as well as rap) is more responsible for any decay of society than people like Katy Perry. Not that I think music really is responsible but blaming a song which promotes lesbian activity for the decay of society seems a little silly when you've got metal and rap talking about stuff way more serious and potentially mind warping.

Re: Katy perry!
When my 7 year old niece is walking around her house singing "I kissed a girl and I like it, the taste of her cherry chap stick..." I think we have a problem. Metal and rap music doesn't get as much play as pop music. Hell, metal/rock music barely gets any play around from where I'm from. We have one station that plays that kind of music and now they play a lot of radio friendly stuff so nothing controversial is ever on.
Just imagine your daughter, younger sister, or niece walking around singing a song like that. It being catchy is one of the bad things.

Re: Katy perry!
Fair comment. But again, just because they are singing it doesn't mean they are going to do it though. And if you or someone explains the track to the daughter/niece/whatever which most adults will if they catch them singing a song like that, the girl will understand it's just made to sell records on the shock factor of lesbian activity. The lamest thing is that Katy Perry ain't even a lesbian.

Re: Katy perry!
Well that's what I mean, I didn't learn about lesbians until T.a.T.u. released that "All The Things She Said" song. I mean, kids are growing up in a much different time and I can't help but point a finger at a girl whose biggest song is about having a fling with a girl. I have very strong morals and it just gets underneath my skin. But you do make good points as well.

She is actually a bi-Sexual. I have read to interviews without her stating that. Ill see if i can find one and ill post it
Re: Katy perry!
I just think bi-sexuals are greedy. They got to make up their mind, do they want to be gay or straight. You need to pick you can't just stay on the fence like that. I dated a bi girl and she cheated on me with this butt ugly chick. It sucked. Most chicks that are bi aren't even good looking.
I to have heard she was bi. I think it was on another forum with this very similar topic.

I've read something with her where she claims to be straight. I've heard she's going out with the dude from the Gym Class Heroes.

Re: Katy perry!
That is also very possible. Bi sexual people seem to change what their sexuality is very quickly. Also, her saying she is bi could just be a way to get more people interested in buying her albums. Bi sexuality is all the rage these days.
